About Helping Hand

Have you ever watched Youtube videos where the Youtuber helps ONE person, then you watch another video, and another ONE person gets help? Then you are so happy that that person got help, whether it was food or money...and your eyes get blurry with tears when they tell their stories, and you give thanks that they got that help. And you think, 🤔there are so many more people out there like them! But this Youtuber is just one person; they can only do so much. While it made you happy to watch someone get help, it also made you sad that it was so public.

As they tell their stories, you cry some more; but a common theme in their stories is that the rent became so unbearably high, it became unsustainable; so they ended up in a shelter, or on the streets. Its heart wrenching when you hear that they had to give up their children in the process.

There's another set of people who have to work many jobs, and cannot even make ends meet. Their children mean so much to them and they have to press on. But in the process, they cannot spend as much time with their children, instilling in them the values that would make society a better place.

There's a very LARGE proportion who LOST their jobs through NO fault of their own; and after exhausting their saving, they are down to their last check, for the rent. They worry they cannot provide for the children, and literally stay up at night, worrying, while filling out applications, for which they never get an interview.

There are VETERANS, who held signs. These are people who fought for this country, hoping to make it a better country; but they were abandoned by the very country who they fought for.

There are SENIOR CITIZENS who need a little help each month, to make life easier for them. Can we really close our eyes and hearts to these beautiful human beings? In this country, some people turn away, yes, but the majority are kind hearted, loving people who want to help. HELPING HAND can make this happen with donations from these great people of this country.

On these Youtube videos, as people tell their stories about their need, and the reason for their need, they describe a DIVORCE situation that drained their resources; They describe a MEDICAL EMERGENCY, or sudden illnesses. All these unexpected situations can hit any human being, and if you're not rich (most people aren't), this can send people into financial crisis, not knowing where to turn.

This is where HELPING HAND comes in, to help these families, these individuals, who are hit with unexpected financial hardship whatever the cause. People down on their luck. People with nowhere to turn to. I think if we come together, we can calm the fears of that single mother; that single father; that nuclear parent family; that WORKING HOMELESS person who just cannot afford the rent; that homeless person who needs an ADDRESS so they can get a job. That person who are just one paycheck away from becoming homeless. We can come together and give a helping hand.

There are many people reading this. Were you ever down on your luck that you wished that there was an agency that you could deal with directly, who could help you out of the situation, or alleviate the stress? That's what we aim to do here at HELPING HAND.

HELPING HAND is dedicated to raising funds to help people with rent and food, giving them a hand up, a help, to make things easier; to help improve the HOMELESS CRISIS, by preventing it in some cases, and in other cases, helping people out of it, by directly providing funds raised, to these families, cutting out the middle man, and dealing with the families one-one, away from cameras, with their dignity intact.

HELPING HAND will offer help right away, to those in need; and to those who are not sure of the future of their jobs, but are still able to meet the bills, a MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM where they pay a small monthly fee. The MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM is also for persons who would PREFER to pay for help, should they need it in the future. As funds are raised, a percentage will be immediately set aside for those persons who enrolled in the MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM.

We can come together to make the lives of people a little better, preventing HOMELESSNESS, and helping VETERANS, FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS, out of HOMELESSNESS. We can extend a HELPING HAND. For in doing this we make our communities and surrounding communities a better place. ❤❤❤
